V.  POLICY

  1. The State of New Jersey has three immunization requirements that pertain to students at Rowan University:
  2. Additional immunizations are recommended, but not required, including Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap), Meningitis B, Hepatitis A, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
  3. Students must submit proper documentation of their immunizations signed and dated by their Health Care Provider, along with complete health forms to Student Health Services. Failure to comply with these required Immunizations by the published deadlines will result in late fees and an "Immunization Hold" placed on the student's record. This hold will prevent the student from receiving grades or registering for additional courses until the requirements are completed.
  4. Rowan Global students must follow the State of New Jersey health and immunization requirements as outlined below:
  5. Student Health Services has responsibility to ensure immunization requirements have been submitted by all new students prior to the start of each semester. SHS maintains internal polices to address communication of noncompliance, penalties for noncompliance and state reporting.
