I.     PURPOSE

This Animals/pets are not permitted in Rowan University’s campuses buildings, except in certain limited circumstances such as Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals, Shreiber Family Pet Therapy Programs and vivariums.  This policy provides the procedures for the use of Service Animals by students and employees; and Emotional Support Animals by students, on Rowan University’s campuses. This policy may be amended from time to time as circumstances require.
