How do I obtain a Rowan Network Account?
If you are a new faculty or staff member and need a network password/e-mail account, an existing department member needs to submit a request at http://support.rowan.edu or send an e-mail email@example.com. Please have them include your full name, Banner ID number, department name and telephone extension.
If you are an incoming student you need to visit http://id.rowan.edu. Choose "No" under "Do you know your network username and password." The system will ask you to verify personal information about yourself, including your SSN and home address.
How do I change my password?
You can change your Rowan Network password by visiting http://id.rowan.edu
Passwords need to be a minimum of 8 characters long and contain 2 of the following: a capital letter, a number or a special character.

What if I forget my username or password?
Faculty/Staff: If you forget your username or password you can call the Support Desk at 856.256.4400 for assistance.
Students: You can view your username and reset your password by visiting http://id.rowan.edu. The system will ask you to verify personal information about yourself, including your SSN and home address. If you need further assistance, you can call the Support Desk at 856.256.4400.
Can I change my username?
Except in special circumstances for employees, such as marriage or divorce, the answer is no. We have certain naming conventions that we abide by. Employee usernames are last names followed by letters from the first name when needed to avoid duplicate usernames.
We never change student usernames once they are created.
